Peace Book Come with me now; let us go on a journey. It is a journey of the mind. I will guide you. Let us leave where we are and go into the high places. Let us clear our minds of the day-to-day trivia that we have placed there. We have work to do. It is glorious work. It is the work of God. Are you at Peace? Can you find a place to be at Peace? Try today to find a place of Peace and spend as much time there as you can. No more than an hour is needed, but give what you can. When you are in your place, close your eyes and listen for me. I am there in your mind. I am there even now. Listen and you will find me. At first, your mind will likely be filled with noise from the day-to-day activities you are engaged in. But try to look past these and look into the quiet place inside yourself. Don’t ask, God, are you there? for I am always there. Ask instead, God, what is your will? Ask, God, what is your plan for Salvation? Ask, Father, how may I find Peace? Ask, Father, what is truth? Ask and listen with a willingness to hear and you will hear. How can it be that I can talk to all people at once? It is the simplest of all things. I am you. I am in all of you. You are my thoughts, and what you think, I think also. We are one. Try as often as you can to go to your quiet place and listen for me. The voice you hear will be mine. Do not despair that you do not hear me clearly at first. You have built up many barriers between us. Your vision of this world is a product of your thoughts. It will be hard to let it go and to hear me at first. But listen and be willing to hear, and I will be heard. I will be answering you even when you do not hear me. It is you who are blocking me out. Let yourself hear me and you will find Salvation. Listen now to my voice. I have a message for you. Peace is within your grasp. Do not let it slip from you. Do not let those who see darkness lead you into darkness. You see the light; know it is true. Know that the light is your place. You are like the branch of a new tree. You have great strength in you, but you are yet to be strong. Give yourself time to grow. Do not be in a hurry; rather, gather your strength to you and let your thoughts mature. Let your doubts be voiced and deal with them. When you ask of me and you are in the light, you will have the answers to all of your doubts. Cast aside your doubts and fears. They block your Peace. Your mind cannot be filled with Peace and hate at the same time. It cannot be filled with fear and Peace at the same time. Seek the Peace which is within you. I put it there. It is your right. It is your heritage. Find the light of truth in you and live in the light. I do not ask you to change your ways. I do not ask you to be what others define as good. I only let you know that there is a voice for truth in you and there is Peace in this voice. If you wish, seek the Peace in you. I am here to help you. I am here for you to know and to be Peaceful. I am here for your salvation. Let us pray together. Let us seek Peace together. Let us be one with all our brothers. Let us be happy together. You may not know it, but there is Joy waiting for you. It is not the Joy of alcohol; it is the Joy of a good joke told among close friends. I have placed you here to be happy. You do not believe it. You and the generations of you who proceeded you see war and attack. You see competition and fear. You see these things to separate yourselves from your brothers. To be superior to them. But you cannot be superior to them. They are you and you are them. There is no difference in you. You are all the same. You are all from my mind. I do not give you dominion over your brothers. None of you is right to the extent of killing or imprisoning your brother, because of his views. You are all one. See the oneness. Do not separate yourselves. The Journey is at hand. It has begun for you. If you have come this far into this book, you have started. Do you question this book? Good! It is a sign you are thinking. Look to your doubts; examine them. In the examination shall you grow. In the Journey shall you learn. Each doubt you expose and examine is a step in the Journey. Each fear you lay aside is a measure of progress. The Journey leads home. It leads to Peace and Joy. Will you look at your fears now? At this instant? Write on this page one thing you fear. Is it the dark? Is it snakes? What do you fear? Let us look at fear. Where did it come from? Why do you carry it with you now? Why do you clutch at this fear as though it was a gift? Let it go! Expose it to the light of truth and it will be gone. Write about your fear. Put down words on paper to tell about it. Do this now. Tell me about your fear. Now, let us look at this fear you have written about. How does it look on paper? Does it frighten you now? Why not? What is different? Is the fear smaller? Is it gone? Let me tell you something: there is nothing to fear, because nothing can ever hurt you. You are my son, even as Christ was my son. He knows no fear; learn from him. Listen to him You are more than your body. You are more than your fears. Listen to the truth in these words; they carry the seeds of Peace. Plant them; nurture them. They will grow into your Salvation. Look now to the East. It is a place of war. It is a place of confusion. It is a place where brother battles brother. And, they do it in my name. Can you imagine a war in my name? Think, Would I lend my name to a war? Would I ask for innocent people to die? If you answer yes, you know me not at all. Fools, All war is folly, and war in the name of the giver of Peace is the greatest folly of all. God is love. God is Peace. I am not war. Why do you corrupt my name? Lay down your weapons; seek Peace. You kill your brothers and sisters; stop now! Put an end to this mess. Do not let your countries use your name to make war. I will never give my name to any war. So those who say they war in my name are liars. They dwell deep in the land of fear and darkness. Help me save them. The Journey continues. We go now to a place you have often been. It is Hell. It is all about you. Look for it in your mind. Look now! Disease, suffering, pain, not enough of anything or too much of everything. Hell is your natural state. Your natural environment. So you think. IT IS NOT SO! It has never been so. Look at the suffering and pain and lack you see as hell. How will you correct them? Will you call out for justice? Will you heal yourself? Think! How will you help? You can only help yourself. If you will do this, I will show you how to help all others. But first you must be at Peace within. Look for the Peace within yourself. It is there. There may be times when Peace is outside your grasp. There are times of turmoil and upset. Not the turmoil of battle, but the turmoil of disquiet. At these times seek to discover the cause of the turmoil. See the turmoil for what it is, idle chatter. Push it aside. Do not add to your problems by placing fear and worry on top of what you see as problems. See the problem as it is. The Journey continues. Let us go now into ourselves. What do you see? I see Peace and Joy and wonders beyond imagination. I see you safe and whole, free to give and free to enjoy. Do you see this? No. You see fears and needs and guilt. If you are one with me and will join me forever, what is there to want? If you are a spirit and not just a body, what is there to want? If all your mistakes and guilt mean nothing but a way for you to learn, what is there to be sorry for? I do not see you as guilty. I do not see you as sick. I do not see you as afraid. I see you as my own, part of me. Part of all of us. Do not despair. Join us in Peace and Joy. Seek the Peace within yourself. Seek the Peace in all mankind. Bring us all Peace. Bring me Peace by joining me. Bring mankind Peace by bringing yourself Peace. It is my wish for Peace to reign over all the land. Will you help me to bring it? If so, look within yourself this day. Look for the Peace we have made. Look for the Peace which is your right. The Journey continues; we begin again. How will you save your brother in distress? What can you do or say which will help them to see the Joy and the Peace which are theirs? Is it even your job to save them? Yes, it is your job to offer them the light. It is your job to lead them as they will be led. And you must try and try again and again to aid your brother. But, there is a dark time for each of you. You have chosen to discover it, to see it, to feel it. From this place, there is seldom a quick return. Try as you might, there will be those times when nothing will work. This is because your brother is denying the brotherhood and is seeking to separate himself from us as far as possible. He is in turmoil and he will not be able to see the light you offer him. Do not expect to make progress at these times. But, you must continue to try to offer aid and support, for the very act of your offer is a denial of his wish to separate. Your support is the string which will keep him a part of us all. Give of your time and your love. Give even though there will be no gain that can be seen. Give, and in the giving you will gain, and he will see that there are brothers which will aid him and comfort him. He will not change quickly, but he will know in a small place within there is one who loves him and will aid him in the end. Give and you shall be given. Love and you shall be loved. Hold out your hand to your brother and I will hold out my hand to both of you. Peace and Joy. What are these things I would have you seek over all else? Peace and Joy coexist. They are together. Is this confusing? Peace is not just calm. Peace is the absence of fear. Can you be at Peace and full of Joy at the same time? Look to the children. The young children, in their play, do they have joy? Do they also have Peace? Yes, because Peace is the absence of fear. Peace can be in sitting calmly and basking in the light. It can also be in running, jumping and mating. Peace is not the lack of movement; it is a state of mind. You can be at Peace when dancing wildly. David was. You can find Peace at work. Do not sit in your chairs and expect Peace to overtake you. You must go out and seek it. Peace can be found in the calm of meditation; it can also be found in sharing with another. It can be in teaching, but it can never be in conflict or struggle for power. Peace and Joy coexist. See yourself romp and play, tumble and sing, all without any fear. No fear of hurting yourself. No fear of today, yesterday, or tomorrow. No fear at all. This is what I would have you see is yours. This and much, much more. It awaits your slightest wish. Seek Peace with Joy, and the Journey is begun. The path leads only one way. It leads only to me and to your home. The Journey continues. We go now to a place of infinite quiet. It is within you; it is within me. This place is a place of light and Peace. This place is our place. It was made by us, for us. You have forgotten it. I have remembered it. I will show it to you. Read these words and do as I ask. You will hear the quiet we have made. Sit and relax. Let the world of today go. Think of Peace and harmony. Think of quiet and Bliss. Think slowly and deliberately. Try to think only of a sense of Peace. You will feel it. As it comes over you, relax into it. Become one with it and you become one with me. In this Peace is the quiet we made. It is apart from the world you have made. It is a place you will know. Here you will feel the gift of Peace. Here you will find the strength to continue the Journey. Here I await you. Let the Peace and stillness flood over you. These are the gifts which none of the earth can match. These are the gifts of God. Feel them and you will know the truth of these words. Sit. Close your eyes. Relax and think of Peace. Feel the gift of Peace as it comes to you. It comes as the light to the dark. It comes as the stillness after a thunderstorm. It comes as the quiet of a baby sleeping. It comes as the quiet, powerful voice of God. It comes on the wings of Truth, for it is Truth itself which comes to you now. Close your eyes and relax. The Journey is not a simple one. You must first will to begin. With this will you will succeed. It will not come in a few days. You have much to learn, much to forget. Be sure of one thing: we await you. You will know it by the Peace and Joy you find in the quiet moments we spend together. Tell others of our Peace. Tell them so they may learn as we learn. Tell them to save them from the turmoil they create. Save them and be saved yourself.. Carry my word to others and I will carry you home. |
